The study examines the dynamic of academic procrastination processes on making the undergraduatethesis. Data was collected from three people who admitted to engage in academic procrastination on their thesis during three interviews. Analysis of the interview data identi ed several factors involved on the process such as characteristic of situation, characteristic of thesis, characteristic of individual, stress, self-ef cacy, self-esteem, social support, and perceived social support. The analysis also identi ed three situational contexts from where the process emerged. The analysis also identi ed academic procrastination on thesis as coping stress toward thesis, as an implication of coping towards other perceived stressors, and as an implication of adjustment behavior towards the role of con ict during conducting thesis.
